Lodi
is built like a daschund; he
has a very long back and
short legs.
This has always made
him prone to back soreness.
Lodi has been worked
on by other chiropractors
and massage therapists but
none have been able to
address his jaw soreness as
well as Jacquie and none
have given me tools to help
Lodi with his TMJ problems
between sessions.
Lodi has always
looked weak in his loin area
but since Jacquie has worked
on him, he has looked
stronger.
I know she can’t
change a horse’s
conformation, but I think
she did.
Just
over two years ago, Lodi
kicked through a smooth and
hot wire fence.
He jerked his legs
back, twisted around and
fell down.
When he returned to
work, he was very
uncomfortable with his left
lead canter.
He had trouble
picking the lead up and if
you were able to get the
lead, he couldn’t maintain
it for more than one 20
meter circle and really
struggled going in a
straight line on that lead.
Vets and other
chiropractors have not been
able to help me with this
problem.
Since Jacquie has
worked on Lodi, he not only
picks up the left lead, but
he is able to maintain it
for several laps around the
arena.
Beginner riders
learning how to canter are
able to get Lodi into the
left lead and keep him in
it.
